FORBES LIST OF 400 RICHEST AMERICANS

No, I’m not on the list. I checked just in case. It’s a fun diversion for a few minutes to read about the wealthy and how they made the list. While a few inherited their position, many worked and made their money themselves. Congratulations to them, that’s the American dream at its best.

Our son Scott is studying for some licensing exams in order to embark on a new career in the financial world. During a discussion around the sanding table the other day, he brought up some interesting facts about some of the people on this year’s list.

So later that evening while scouring the list looking for my name, I followed up on what he said. I read the entire list and discovered that, out of the 400 wealthiest Americans, 45 are in Texas. Out of the 45 Texas billionaires, we can count three of them as clients of Little Jack Horner’s. We are a small company. One that is the epitome of the Mom and Pop business. So, I know who our clients are, and I have always known that these people are clients. But, it never really hit me that we have three of the wealthiest people in America as clients.

My last post mentioned that we strive for the highest possible quality in the work we produce. We take great pride in that and always remember we are working on their family heirloom. These people can afford to have anyone, anywhere handle their furniture needs. I’m pretty proud that they chose us.
